I grew up near Pittsburgh, attended undergrad at WVWC earning a BA in English writing and Studio art, and then a MFA at James Madison University in Virginia. I taught drawing and design skills along with art history and digital photography for a few years before moving to Santa Fe, NM to help a relative. After 7 years as an Art Gallery manager, I made my way to Los Angeles where I tried my hand in the movie business and finally landed as the Finance Manager at a Harley shop. During the pandemic, my partner and I packed up our two kitties and moved to Portland, OR so that I could pursue my artistic passions and we could enjoy the smaller city life and the great green PNW.

In another life I managed a gallery in Santa Fe, NM on Canyon Road and showed my own paintings in NM, AZ, CA, and CO. I look forward to opening a studio again one day soon here in the PNW and getting involved with local galleries.
